The contemporary designer brand, Cult Gaia, founded by Jamsin Larain has recently dropped their fall collab with Gap. Larain is businesswoman and curator in her own right, but also the daughter of the CEO of MGA Entertainment, manufacturers of Bratz dolls. So iconic, literally the passion for fashion runs in the family.

The brand itself is focused on being an heirloom brand with odes to Mother nature (apparent through the use of earth tones, deep hues, various textures, and sculptural designs). This collection features an array of elevated and purposeful capsule pieces described as a "wardrobe for a modern goddess" (Gap.com).

This collab is great way for Cult Gaia to gain brand recognition with the average consumer. It allows a chance for consumers a chance at experience and enjoy the cutting edge, contemporary luxury brand Cult Gaia brand without its typically, hefty price tag.

You know I love to share my favs of collections and launches so here are some of the pieces that would ABSOULTELY make it to my cart:

Overall, this collection exceeded my expectations. Typically, with high-fashion collaborations like this, there is a noticeable decline in clothing quality. However, many pieces in the collection feature high-quality fabrics, such as cotton, wool, and genuine leather. The selected pieces specifically do not contain any polyester in their fabric compositions. IN THE LORD'S YEAR OF 2024, WE SHOULD NOT BE OVERPAYING FOR POLYESTER. There are also some "sustainable" designs that incorporate recycled materials, though one could argue about the actual sustainability of these methods. I hope that interested buyers can get their hands on some items from the collection; I’m already seeing many posts from resellers. : (
